It makes sense, it doesn't feel forced and is overall not annoying. Overwatch did it way better imo: Characters representing different countries and thus have the characteristics of those countries. Thing is, it doesn't even grind my gears that much but I can't stop to think that all that inclusion, diversity bullshit is being forced on people and it annoys the shit out of me. Oh wait, it has been, there is an old neckbeard psycho behind the paywall. Second off, when you look at the streamers playing the game most of them are white males, the one demographic that has not been included into the character list. So first off, why does a character in a game that has no story and is just people running towards a circle center even have to announce that those characters are "LGBTQ"? They could just not mention it since their sexuality is in no way shape or form intersting or relevant to the gameplay while at the same time leave it up for speculation or imagination for whoever feels into that kind of shit. From those 6 characters left there is:Īlso it seems they announced that "25% of the charcters are LGBTQ". 8 characters are available to play, 2 of them behind a paywall. Heavily supported by many big streamers out there. Apex Legends is the new Battle Royale game by EA.
